Professor Green has revealed he has been in hospital having tests for cancer.

According to Digital Spy, the rapper found a suspicious lump on his head and went in for tests yesterday (7 September), where the lump was removed.

Keeping his fans updated with the latest news, the Remedy hitmaker tweeted: "Got the pre anaesthetic on my head so the injection doesn't hurt as much apparently... We'll see.

"Yawn. Can we get this thing out of my head already?"

Green later added: "A 5mm x 5mm lymph node. Now all I can hope is it isn't cancerous. Won't know until Thursday :("

With the test done, the rapper still went ahead and performed live at the Pilton Party in Glastonbury, Somerset yesterday evening, [uuid=5207af72-7c29-472d-900f-a25d9b11603a]with girlfriend[/uuid], Made In Chelsea's Millie Mackintosh, in tow.

And after the gig, Pro Green thanked fans, tweeting: "Pilton Party thank you! For that hour I didn't even think about all the s*** going on - you lot were amazing! Thank you!!! X"
