Professor Green Splits With Ex-Hollyoaks Star
Professor Green has apparently ended his relationship with former Hollyoaks actress, Candy McCulloch.
According to The Sun, Green - real name Stephen Manderson - called time [uuid=d60b649f-1948-45cc-9a72-b9976e5d9758]on his 18-month romance[/uuid] with Candy after struggling with the thought of being tied down.
A source told the tabloid: "Stephen and Candy are both still really cut up about it. He really loves Candy but he's probably just a bit too young to settle down right now. It's very fresh and sore at the moment."
Following news of their break-up, the pair seemed to address it on Twitter, with Green posting via his official account: "s**t happens, s**t made s**tter by the s**t that happens when s**t is spoken about publicly."
Candy - who is Echo & the Bunnymen star Ian McCulloch's daughter - also tweeted: "Sometimes when s**t happens, you see who the good people in your life are :)"
Since breaking up with Candy, Green - who recently shot the video for his next single Never Be A Right Time - is said to have turned to his co-star model Keisha Lall, who plays his love interest in the promo, for support.
An insider told The Sun: "Stephen invited Keisha out for drinks before they had to film their scenes because he hadn't acted before and didn't want the kissing scenes to be awkward."
They added: "They got on like a house on fire and he invited her out again to a gig on Sunday night. She has been a really good bit of support for him since the break-up and they've become good mates."
Green recently tweeted a picture of himself with Keisha from the video set, showing the pair covered in what appears to be food.
