Professor Green's Attacker Appears In Court
Anthony Jones is on trial for attacking the MC last May...
A man accused of attacking Professor Green with a broken bottle has appeared in court.
According to The Sun, Anthony Jones, who is accused of the 'cowardly and vicious' attack on the Monster rapper last May, is said to have thrust the broken bottle into Pro's neck so hard he was cut almost to the bone.
Jones alleges that he launched at Green after he believed he was 'jostling one of his friends' at Cargo nightclub in Shoreditch, East London, where the 25-year old is said to have taunted Pro before the attack, saying: "You're a bad man. You're the baddest man in here."
The court heard how Green, real name Stephen Manderson, ran out of the venue, bleeding so heavily from the six inch gash that he 'thought he was going to die.'
Pro told the jury: "I was scared. Having been cut in the neck I know what tends to happen when people get cut in the neck. I was extremely lucky."
While the I Need You Tonight hitmaker lay on the ground, Jones is said to have screamed at Green: "You're f***ing dead."
Jones, who lives in Finsbury Park, North London, has denied wounding the MC with intent, as the case continues at London's Snaresbrook Crown Court.
Pro recently recalled the events of his near-fatal stabbing, claiming that he even phoned his mum and nan to say goodbye, after fearing that he was close to death.
