Ridley Scott: Prometheus 2 Script Is Finished

Legendary movie director Ridley Scott has revealed that the script for Prometheus 2 has been completed ahead of filming for the sequel.

Speaking to Empire magazine, Scott appeared excited about the movie follow-up, which was reported as "going ahead" in August last year.

The helmsman said: "Prometheus 2 is written. Prometheus was a great experience for me.

"Chasing number two, we can start evolving that grand idea."

There was more good news for sci-fi fans too, as Ridley explained that the script for the sequel to cult classic Blade Runner was underway.

Scott explained that he is currently "working on" Blade Runner 2 and added: "That will happen sooner or later."

Blade Runner star Harrison Ford recently told IGN that he was already in talks to take a role in the film.
