PSY Thanks Robbie Williams For 'Gangnam Style' Success

Speaking to MTV News UK exclusively at the Capital FM Summertime Ball last night (Sunday 9th June) at Wembley Stadium, PSY told us:

 

“I really wanna thank Robbie Williams because he was kind of first guy who made a link from my Gangnam Style video on his blog and that was really early day(s) like last August so I got a step [up] by him and gotta thank him.”

 

 

Robbie himself later praised PSY, telling Capital FM they could be working together in the near future!

 

After performing at the Britain’s Got Talent final this weekend alongside Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran, we asked him about Simon Cowell's egging but the Gentleman star seemed to get the wrong end of the stick saying ‘generous’ the judge was during his performance on the show:

 

“I saw Simon Cowell smiling, so generous smiling, five times when I’m performing and four times thumbs up. I was like ‘he looks so generous’, I was so surprised, he was so generous.”
