Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight will start filming in November, despite previously being canned due to script leaks, reports Showbiz 411.
With a cast list including Samuel L. Jackson, Bruce Dern, Michael Madsen, Kurt Russell, James Remar, Amber Tamblyn, Walt Goggins, and Zoe Bell, the movie is said to be filming in Wyoming.
"We'll see. I'm still writing the script right now," said Tarantino at Cannes Film Festival last week. "I have calmed down a bit. The knife-in-the-back wound has started to scab."
The filmmaker previously filed a lawsuit against website Gawker for linking to his screenplay, of which Tarantino said at the time, "I gave it to three actors: Michael Madsen, Bruce Dern, Tim Roth. The one I know didn't do this is Tim Roth.
"One of the others let their agent read it, and that agent has now passed it on to everyone in Hollywood. I don't know how these f***ing agents work, but I'm not making this next.”
Tarantino has since dropped the lawsuit, so here’s hoping the rest of the movie scriptwriting goes without hitch.
