Radiohead’s new album has been released one day earlier than planned.
Thom Yorkedancing erratically and singing. Unlike previous album In Rainbows, where the Oxford band allowed fans to pay what they thought it was worth, the new release has a fixed price.
Meanwhile, a Tokyo album playback, planned for Friday, was cancelled due to security concerns. NME reports that Yorke had planned to unveil the new album with a broadcast in the city’s Hachiko Square, but it was canned at the last minute.
Hundreds of fans showed up to the square expecting a preview of the new release, but were left disappointed.
