Radiohead Gig Voted Best Ever

Radiohead Gig Voted Best Ever

Radiohead's set at Glastonbury 1997 has been voted the best gig ever in a Q Magazine poll.
The set, hailed by Glastonbury boss Michael Eavis as "the most inspiring festival gig in 30 years", was the Saturday night headliner at that year's particularly muddy festival.
Voted second in the poll was Nirvana's appearance at Reading 1992, at the height of their fame.
Oasis' 1996 gig at Knebworth, to a whopping 250,000 fans, came in third.
Others in the top 20 include the Beatles' impromptu set on the roof of Apple HQ in 1969 and Sex Pistols' Screen On The Green gig in 1976.
