Radiohead Play Tiny Gig

MTV News was there as a few songs in a record store turned into a full on free gig

Radiohead have played their first UK show in years to just 200 lucky fans in a London venue, amid chaotic scenes.

Originally a small in-store at Rough-Trade East the venue was switched to nearby club 93 Feet East at the last minute because of police advice over crowd safety fears.

Many fans who failed to get wristbands turned up to see the gig on screens that the band had promised. Its also believed this was vetoed by authorities.

The audience were eventually treated to a cracking set when Radiohead came on stage at 10.30pm. Acknowledging the frantic changes frontman Thom Yorke exclaimed: What a f**king day!

Playing for nearly an hour they ran through all of album In Rainbows and featured National Anthem and My Iron Lung in the encore.
