Thom Yorke has launched a campaign to make European governments take action against climate change.

The Big Ask Europe is spearheaded by Friends Of The Earth and is urging the EU to make legally binding emission cuts.

Radiohead man Yorke said: We will never wake from the nightmare of climate change unless our national governments and the European Union act.

They are the only ones who can put the structures in place that will help us tackle climate change."

Thom has long worked with the Friends Of The Earth charity in the UK and has played gigs for them to raise money.
