Rag’n’Bone Man Scores Fastest-Selling Male Debut Album Of The Decade

Congratulations Rory Graham!

'Human'is the fastest-selling male debut album of the decade! In fact,MTV UK’s PUSH artist of the month, Rag’n’Bone Man, sold so many copies that heoutsold the rest of this week’s Top 10 Albums 'combined'.

Rag’n’Bone Man, real name Rory Graham, released his debut 'Human', last week. The album is now officially the fastest-selling debut album by a male act of the decade. Across physical, streaming and download, the soul singer-songrwiter shipped a massive 117,000 copies.

To summarise: Rag’n’Bone Man is quite good at his job.

Speaking to OfficialCharts.com, Rory said: “A massive thank you for going out and buying my album, streaming it and making it such a success so quickly. It means the world to me. Number 1 album… smash!”

Rag’n’Bone Man can go into the weekend with this fact to savor: 'Human' had a bigger opening week than debut albums by the likes of Ed Sheeran ('+', 2011) and Sam Smith ('In The Lonely Hour', 2014).

Not too shabby, Rag’n’Bone Man. Not too shabby at all.
