Drummer Quits Razorlight

Razorlight’s drummer Andy Burrows has quit after five years in the band.

here have been rumours for years that the band don’t get on and now they may have been proved right.

Burrows said: “The past five years in Razorlight have been an amazing experience… I am very proud of everything that myself, Johnny, Carl and Bjorn have achieved together.

He continued: “But for personal reasons I have decided to leave the band. I will be pursuing other musical ventures."

Singer Johnny Borrell paid tribute to Burrows saying he would miss him but stated that the band will continue.

However some reports claim that Borrell and Burrows had a massive argument whilst on a promo trip of the US.

David Sullivan Kaplan will play drums for Razorlight at live shows this year.
