Jon Bon Jovi Cancels Gig Because He Thought His Singing Was "Sh*t"

Jon Bon Jovi, legendary frontman of, yes, Bon Jovi, was forced to cut a recent gig short because, in his own words, his singing was a bit “sh*t”.

"I think I'm singing like sh*t tonight and I apologise... I'm gonna keep pushin' on and if you stick it out with me, I'll stick it out with you."

As reported by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Bon Jovi (the man) then said to the crowd: “This is the day when I need a karaoke singer. Which one of you guys in a bar band knows all the words to Bon Jovi songs?”

Considering that this was a Bon Jovi gig, it will come as a surprise to literally nobody that someone in the crowd' did 'know the words. Brad Evanovich, a volunteer taken from the crowd, came onstage to sing ‘Born to Be My Baby’. Aww.

Unfortunately, the gig was later cancelled. But that was a nice moment, right?

Queens of the Stone Age are teasing *something* (probably a new album)

Queens of the Stone Age, one of the best rock bands in the world, are teasing ‘something’ on their social media accounts. (It’s probably a new album, isn’t it?)

A picture of the band’s logo, accompanied by the words ‘Coming Twenty-five’, have been posted. Right now, there isn’t much more than that. However, considering the band’s most recent album, 2013’s '…Like ''Clockwork,' came out in 2013, it’s probably a safe bet that this band, who make music professionally and for a living, are about to release more new music.

If you haven’t already, go listen to '…Like Clockwork', it’s one of the best rock albums in recent memory. Even Elton John thought as much, describing the record as “probably the best rock album by any band in about five or six years.” (Full disclaimer, though: Elton John was involved in making the album, contributing both piano and vocals to the record, so it’s no surprise that he’s a fan.)
