By The Way I Love You
And the Red Hot Chili Peppers lived happily ever after...
Valentines Day may be but a distant memory, but love is still very much in the air for the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
With an epic new 25-track album about to be released the band found time to chat exclusively to MTV - and revealed that theyre all hopelessly loved-up. Lead singer Anthony Kiedis explained: "One of the more inspirational things that was going on as we started to write this record is every single person in the band, including our producer Rick Rubin, had all recently fallen in love." Aaah - you guys!
"Every day we would show up in a room and it was four guys that were in some way very happy and very much in love and kind of bursting with this newness of a new relationship."
Not to be outdone, John Frusciante chipped in: "For me it gave everything a cosy feeling and a certain warmth through it, having everybody have that closeness with somebody."
Cynics may snigger, female fans may be distraught, but here at MTV.co.uk weve taken the very sensible step of investing in four new hats.
Red Hot Chili Peppers are headlining this year's Oxegen festival in Ireland.
