Red Hot Chili Peppers Play Abramovich Party
Veteran rockers to entertain Russian oligarch's New Year's Eve guests...
The Red Hot Chili Peppers are to play at Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich's New Year's Eve party tomorrow evening, it has been revealed.
But hold your horses if you were about to get on Ticketmaster, because the bash is invite only and is held at the Chelsea owner's private estate on the Caribbean island of St Barts.
Billionaire Abramovich is spending £5 million on the party, which will run from 10pm to 4am and have just 300 VIP guests, the Daily Telegraph has reported.
Guests have been told to wear "island chic" and will apparently be able to sleep on a fleet of luxury yachts once the celebrations are over.
In 2009 Orlando Bloom and Kanye West were among the invited guests, while Prince, Gwen Stefani and Beyoncé were performing.
