Josh Homme On The Doors, Hating B-Sides & Listening To His Own Music

Well, that's it for this series of Relentless Ultra Presents Soundchain With Zane Lowe, but we still have one more exclusive for you. In this week's clip, Queens Of The Stone Age's Josh Homme talks The Doors and harks back to touring as Kyuss where other bands would find it weird that they listened to their own music...

"I remember touring with bands that will remain nameless," Josh tells Zane, "and they were like 'you listen to your own records?' and we're like 'well yeah' and said 'don't you?' and hearing everytime, 'if I have to hear that song one more time...' and I was like 'but you will, you're gonna play it like, now...' And it's not that I wanna jerk off and listen to my own music all day long I just ...I wanna make something I wanna believe in."

A Soundchain beginning in the Californian desert and it's generator parties and encompassing everyone from Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters to his wife Brody Dalle, QOTSA's chain was nothing short of epic.
