A photo has emerged on the internet which appear to show Miami rapper Rick Ross (born William Roberts) in a US police officer uniform.

'Mediatakeout.com', the source of the photo, seem to suggest that it reveals that Rick Ross used to work in the US police force.

It seems the rapper is far from happy about these allegations which, if proved true, would undoubtedly damage his street cred. In retaliation he issued the following statement:

"My life is 100 percent real. These online hackers putting a picture of my face when I was a teenager in high school on other peoples body. If this shit was real dont you think they would have more specifics, like dates and everything else?"

Ross continued, "Im in the entertainment business and a lot of people like to hate because Im on top of my game. Like I said before my life is 100 percent real."

Ross is currently working on his third LP, 'Deeper Than Rap', which is looking for a release date some time this year.
