Rick Ross Suffers Seizure On Plane
The rapper lost consciousness…
Rick Ross suffered a seizure while on the way to a gig in Memphis on Friday 14 October.
The Teflon Don rapper was on a flight with his entourage when he lost consciousness; a doctor on board administered emergency CPR as the plane made an emergency landing.
He was rushed to hospital and is making a good recovery, reports state.
TMZ reported: "Emergency workers tell us the call came in at 12:55 PM ET and the caller reported a seizure. Ross is currently on a gurney at the airport, and an eyewitness tells us EMT workers are administering CPR.
"Members of Rick's entourage are standing by; some of them are extremely emotionally upset. We're told drugs and alcohol were not involved."
Rapper Wale, who is signed to Ross’ label, reassured fans via Twitter that the star was out of danger, after online speculation that he might not pull through. He wrote: “I just talked to Ross... he's 100 pct OK.”
According to reports, the 35-year-old star had suffered another seizure earlier in the day, and was taken to hospital as a precaution, but had insisted on boarding the plane for the Memphis gig when the second seizure took place.
