Calvin Harris has praised Rihanna, stating that the Bajan babe 'changed his career' after recording his track, We Found Love.
Following the success of RiRi's version of the song, Harris has told The Sun that it helped his own singles chart higher worldwide.
Speaking of We Found Love, the Scottish DJ told the tabloid: "It changed absolutely everything. Career-wise it was the best thing that could ever have happened.
"For example, in America my tune 'Feel So Close' came out about three months before. But when 'We Found Love' came out, the radio started playing 'Feel So Close' like it was the single after."
He added: "Then that did really well, it charted well and sold a lot of copies. Then radio stations wanted to play me like I was the new act. That changed a lot of things as they wouldn't play me before."
Harris, who is also behind Cheryl Cole's hit single Call My Name, is due to release his third studio LP 18 Months in the UK on 29th October.
