It was a sad day for the internet when the plug was pulled on Rihanna's much-loved 'badgalriri' Instagram account back in the Spring.

Fans had been lamenting the absence of her sometimes VERY candid photostream ever since, and now she's finally given in to public pressure and reactivated it.

She broke the news by posting what could be the worst selfie in history, showing half her face upside down with a sink seemingly attached to her chin.

And she simply wrote: "Hellurrr #badgalback"

Instagram seems to have preserved her account and she still has all her old Instagrams, as well as her 12.8 million followers, retaining her status as one of the most-followed celebrities.

Although we're pretty sure the photos that originally got her account suspended have since been removed.

Her only other new posting at the time of writing was a caricature of herself holding hands with an Instagram camera, which is blowing a kiss at her.

But don't worry - the 26-year-old has been keeping the raunch levels up on her Twitter account, sharing snaps of herself and friends dressed as sexy Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for Halloween.

One snap showed her seductively licking the inside of her lips as she showed off more cleavage than is decent for a respectable amphibian.
