Rihanna Collects CDFA Fashion Icon Award In See-Through Dress
Even an Instagram ban can’t stop RiRi from flashing the flesh, as she rocks a sheer Adam Selman dress to the CDFA Awards…

All eyes were on Rihanna at Monday night’s annual Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards, as the singer picked up the Fashion Icon award, wearing an entirely sheer Swarovski crystal embellished gown.
Designed by Adam Selman, Rihanna’s long-time collaborator, the shimmering floor-length dress didn’t leave much to the imagination. A braless RiRi’s nipples could clearly be seen, while she wore flesh-coloured pants on her bottom half, accessorising with matching elbow-length gloves, headscarf and fur stole.
With 216,000 Swarovski crystals used in the making of the glamorous gown, RiRi was definitely shining bright like a diamond, as US Vogue editor Anna Wintour presented her with the 2014 Fashion Icon award.
“We definitely wanted to make it a little bit scandalous,” designer Adam Selman told Style.com. “The dress is just fishnet and crystals and a couple of fingers crossed. But fashion is about beauty, and the [female] body is part of that.”

Rihanna’s stylist, Mel Ottenberg, added, “I don’t know if it’s shocking - I’m with her all the time, so my shock gauge is off, but I told her that I thought she was ready for this dress a while ago, and that I wasn’t. I’m the prude, and I’m just catching up.”
