Rihanna: I Want To Make Songs That Are Timeless
Rihanna has disclosed detailsabout her new album, revealing she wants the record to be "timeless"and that her older material doesn’t feel like her.
When quizzed about R8 at a junket interview for her new movie 'Home', the 27-year-old revealed to MTV US: “I just wanted to focus on things that felt real, that felt soulful, that felt forever.
[related]“I wanted songs that I could perform in 15 years. I wanted an album that I could perform in 15 years, not any songs that were burnt out,” added the 'Unapologetic' megastar.
"I find that when I get on stage now I don't want to perform a lot of my songs because they don't feel like me. So I want to make songs that are timeless."
The songstress, who has recently collaborated with Kanye West and Paul McCartney, has also been made the new face of Dior.
As well as her upcoming campagindue this spring, RiRi has a feature-length documentary movie on its way.
