Rihanna: "I Wasn't Allowed To Date"
RiRi reveals how her mum banned her from having boyfriends as a teenager...
Rihanna has revealed that her mother banned her from having a boyfriend until she was at least 16.
The Bajan babe - who unveiled her hot collaboration with Shakira this week - admitted to Teen Vogue magazine that her mum Monica banned her from dating as teen.
RiRi recalled: "I wasn't allowed to date. At 13 my mum would tell me, 'You can have a boyfriend when you're 16!' And then at 16 she'd say, 'I never said that - and as a matter of fact, it's 40!'”

Despite posting a number of racy bikini shots on her Instagram page - the most recent being from Brazil - the 25-year old also went on to reveal that she was self-conscious as a teenager growing up in Barbados.
The What Now singer confessed she often worried about her "flat chest and mosquito-bitten skin", adding: "It was a horrible combination."
RiRi went on to discuss her M.A.C. Viva Glam campaign, where she is supporting M.A.C.'s AIDS fund, which has so far raised $300 million to help combat HIV and AIDS.
The star explained to the publication: "I've been around so many people who have been affected by HIV and AIDS.
“It's my turn to spread awareness. Because when people don't talk about this, they feel like it's not happening."
