Rihanna & Maroon 5 Collabo
The chart toppers have chemistry on video set
Maroon 5 and Rihanna have worked together to remix the track If I Never See Your Face Again, a song that has been taken from Maroon 5s 2007 album It Won't Be Soon Before Long.
The new remix will appear on reissues of both artists albums that are due out later this year, Rihanna told MTV News that shes over the moon about the collaboration. Telling us: "I always wanted to work with Maroon 5. They're one of my favourite bands. When they called me to do this record with them, I was so honoured."
The video shoot took place earlier this week in Los Angeles and was directed by Anthony Mandler who has worked with a range of artists from the Spice Girls to Snoop Dogg. Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine told us that the video is: ultra-glamorous, photography-based, late-'70s/ early-'80s situation. It's really stylish and really beautiful."
"I don't do a lot of videos where I have so much chemistry with the other artist Rihanna explained. And Levine felt the same way "It came together so quick if the magic is there, if the chemistry is there, you don't even have to think about it."
