Rihanna and Nicki Minaj are going head-to-head for a place in the Top 5 of MTV’s Hottest Summer Superstar list.

 

Rihanna is currently placing at No.6 with less than 90,000 votes separating her from Nicki Minaj who is, at present, sitting pretty at No.5.

 

Meanwhile battling it out at the top, Justin Bieber is closing in on One Direction who took an early lead we opened the vote less than two weeks ago, with approximately 1.5 million votes between the two.

 

Confirmed MTV VMA performer Lady GaGa currently sits in third position while Demi Lovato places fourth.
