Rihanna has described the late Princess Diana as "gangsta" in a new interview.

The Diamonds singer admitted to loving everything about Lady Di's style, naming Wills and Harry's mum as her ultimate fashion icon when quizzed about her clothing choices.

Speaking to Glamour magazine, RiRi confessed: "You know who is the best who ever did it? Princess Diana. She was like - she killed it. Every look was right.

"She was gangsta with her clothes. She had these crazy hats. She got oversize jackets. I loved everything she wore!"
