Rihanna is something of a style chameleon, but even we couldn’t have predicted her latest look: a septum piercing for the cover of W magazine’s September issue.

Shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot, exclusively for W, RiRi is hailed as both a “bad girl” and “the world’s wildest style icon” on the cover’s headlines.

With her dramatic make-up and jewellery, Rih certainly looks the part, and took to Twitter to share the “Eskimo Horror Cover Story”.

“The OFFICIAL #Cover for @Wmag September issue! Shot by Mert&Marcus!” wrote Rihanna, before sharing numerous pictures from W’s September issue, where she works increasingly dramatic fur ensembles and heavily jewelled accessories.
