Rihanna has posted a cryptic snippet of what appears to be a new track on Instagram - sending her Navy into a frenzy.

The original Bad Gal took to the website last night (November 25) to upload a clip of the fresh track, with RiRi captioning the teaser: "phuckin roun in da studio."

[related]It is currently unknown whether the song will feature on the Bajan babe's eagerly-anticipated eighth album - rumoured to be called Lost Files - or whether, like her caption, she was just fooling around.

However, The Sun has reported that the We Found Love hitmaker is set to release her first single in two years on December 1 - after her inaugural Diamond Ball in LA.

The tabloid claims that she will also announce a 2015 European tourand a huge sponsorship deal with Puma after the charity bash, which will see actor Brad Pitt introduce her.

A insider revealed: "Rihanna will be back with a bang. She’ll raise thousands for charity with Brad by her side then wow everyone with her new song.

"A new album is set for early 2015 but she could push it forward for a surprise release.”

Her brother Rajad Fenty has also set tongues wagging regarding his sister's new LP, posting the number '8' on Twitter (November 21), before adding: "Oh no… what did I type?"

Fenty began his countdown six days ago, causing huge speculation that RiRi will actually debut her new record on Black Friday (November 28).

Despite the speculation, it seems we will just have to wait and see for now, with the 26-year old taking to Twitter to slam claims made by DJ Skee that he had exclusive news on R8.
