When asked about the criticism surrounding her raunchiness, RiRi explained: "I think people are forgetting what pop music is all about. It’s about freedom.
"You talk about exactly how you feel and you express that in a way that people can dance to. I don’t think things have changed drastically, I just think now women are a lot more powerful and they see it, we see it, as empowering whereas others don’t. I think that’s sad."
As for whether she will be using any of her own style when it comes to her own fashion line, the 24-year old stated: "I always incorporate things from different cultures and different countries…

Following collaborations with the likes ofChris Brown, RiRi was also keen to add that she isn't planning anymore duets in the near future.
She claimed: "I’d love to do more collaborations. We’ve done a lot of collaborations this year alone and we’re only four months in, but I’m gonna hold off probably on that a little bit, just focus on some of the songs on my album."
