Rihanna To Release New Album In November?
It seems RiRi is about to churn out her seventh studio LP...
Rihanna is allegedly planning to release a new album later this year.
According to a tweet from Def Jam France, the Bajan babe is gearing up to the release of her seventh studio album in November, with the first cut from the disc expected to hit US radio stations next Monday (17th September).
They added in the message that the song will premiere at 3pm, while also posting a poster to promote her new track.
The tweet has since been deleted, Billboard.com reports, but the label has since posted a new message, teasing that an announcement would be made this week. The site has translated the tweet to read: "New announcement this Thursday about Rihanna on our account."
DJ Ben Galouye of French radio station NRJ, also added to the speculation, tweeting: "@Rihanna will premiere a new single on monday (morning in the US). First track of her forthcoming album, due for release in late november."
RiRi's next release will be the follow-up to her smash hit LP Talk That Talk, which topped the charts in the UK and has sold over three million copies worldwide.
A rep for the We Found Love singer has since confirmed to MTV News that Rihanna does have a new album coming out but didn't provide any further details.
