This year's MTV VMA will bestow upon Rihanna the highest honour, the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award for her decade-long impact on music, pop culture, fashion, film and philanthropy.

Not only will she be awarded at the ceremony she will also be performing live from New York's iconic Madison Square Garden on Sunday 28th August.

As a two-time VMA Video Of The Year winner and the youngest solo artist to score a whopping 14 no. 1 singles on the Billboard Hot 100, her unparalleled output of hits have created some of today's most memorable music video moments.

From 'Umbrella' to 'We Found Love' and her most recent collaboration with Drake on 'Work', her music videos are always second to none.
