Fenty has claimed that Breezy has "matured" since his 2009 assault on RiRi, stating that he can understand why their fans see them as "the perfect couple."
Grazia magazine quotes him as saying: "Chris has matured a lot. I think everybody has to put the past behind them. And they seem to have done that.
"Being a couple is all up to her... I just wish her the best. I hope things will work out."
He added: "Everyone is entitled to make a mistake. Her fans are hoping it will happen. They see them as a perfect couple."
Earlier this year, RiRi and Brown seemed to put their turbulent relationship behind them [uuid=ef7f6779-c000-45d7-b154-dce5938fc9db]after collaborating on two songs together[/uuid], fuelling reunion rumours.
