Rihanna's Fenty x Puma Fashion Show Was All Of The Fire Emojis
And RiRi stole her own show…
Rihanna's Fenty x Puma show took place at Paris Fashion Week on Wednesday night and it. Was. Fire.
With model mates Sara Sampaio, Doutzen Kroes and Jourdan Dunn on the front row – dressed in head-to-toe Fenty x Puma, obvi – RiRi herself took to the runway not once BUT TWICE to show off her SS17 collection.
And what a collection it was. In a palette of pretty pale pinks, putty and khaki, Rihanna ri-invented sportswear with a Marie Antoinette twist, sending models (including Stella Maxwell, Adwoa Aboah and Taylor Hill) down the catwalk in poloshirts topped with waspies, lace runner shorts and pearls aplenty.
Hoodies were layered under corsets, baseball caps trimmed with frills and veils, and next season's must-have kicks and slides topped with bows.
Oh and if you thought there was an unusual absence of Hadids, after Gigi and Bella walked in Ri's AW16 show, look closer: yup, that's baby bro Anwar Hadid holding fort.
As for our Bad Gal, her first look was comprised of a brown hoody printed with the number 13, a similarly-hued jacket and leggings, teamed with stacks of pearl chokers and anklets.
For her final walk, RiRi rocked a pale pink laser cut tracksuit, complete with train and matching pink Puma fan.
Speaking to Vogue, Rihanna said: "Spring should feel like something fresh, even though I’m not going to stop wearing black altogether. But I didn’t want it to be super-bubbly, so I kept it a bit street – everything was super-sporty and definitely highly influenced by 18th-century French culture, and the style of that time, mainly Marie Antoinette, and the Palace of Versailles.
"She just had this regal way about her, and everything she did was big. I wanted to mix that in with sport. I thought it would be a challenge, and it was! But I enjoyed it, and I hope that people do, too."
Ri, you've got our money.
