New Music Round-Up: Rita Ora, Liam Payne, Justin Timberlake and More

Bruno Mars, Cardi B and Kendrick Lamar are also back with new tunes...

Singles

Liam Payne & Rita Ora - 'For You (From "Fifty Shades Freed")'

This is how you do a soundtrack single. Cinematic synths? Check. Dramatic lyrics? Check. Massive vocals? Check. After making a triumphant return to music in 2017 with three Top 10 singles,Rita reminded everyone that she is a superstar and it looks like she has no intention of slowing things down this year. Not only is 'For You' one of her best releases to date but it also sounds like it could be the international hit that she deserves. Liam's runs complementRita beautifully too. A victory for both artists.

Bruno Mars - 'Finesse (Remix) [feat. Cardi B]'

There's no denying that Cardi is the starof the moment right now. Every single or feature that she releases is filled to the brim with personality and 'Finesse (Remix)' is no different. Cardi opens it upwith one of her most fun verses to date 'It's my big Bronx boogie, got all them girls shook (shook) // My big, fat ass got all them boys hooked (hooked)' and Bruno is on hand to deliver his unmatched vocals. It's an infectious old-school banger that will no doubt become one of the biggest singles of the year.

Kendrick Lamar & SZA - 'All the Stars'

If two all-star collaborations weren't enough for you to get excited about music in 2018, Kendrick Lamar and SZA are here to provide a third. 'All the Stars' is the lead single from the Black Panther soundtrack, which Kendrick is producing, and it's gorgeous. The single isn't as hard as much of Kendrick's solo material but his word-play is on full show and SZA's ethereal vocals take the track to the next level. Seriously if K.Dot and SZA wanted to release a collab album, we'd be first in line to buy it.

Justin Timberlake - 'Filthy'

Justin Timberlake is back with the lead single from his first album in almost five years and it's as good as you'd expect. Reunited with production legends Timbaland and Danja, 'Filthy' sees Justin return to the maturesound of 'SexyBack' and put a modern spin on it. 'Filthy' is a throbbing, sexual bop reminiscent of Jamiroquai. The 'Mirrors' star is releasing a singleeach week before his album 'Man of the Woods' drops on February 2nd. After listening to this, we can't wait to hear more from him.

Chloe x Halle - 'The Kids Are Alright'

Ever since they released their debut EP in 2016, Chloe x Halle have proved themselves as masters of stunning music with heavenly harmonies and lush production. Co-written with Diana Gordon, 'The Kids Are Alright' may well be their best single yet.

BØRNS & Lana Del Rey - 'God Save Our Young Blood'

Lana DelRey is the perfect partner for BØRNS on thislaidback pop masterpiece.

Charlie Puth - 'If You Leave Me Now (feat. Boyz II Men)'

Charlie Puth gets soulful with some help from the kings of the genre Boyz II Men.
