Rita Ora Gets Flirty On The Voice UK

The songstress made auditionee Stevie McCrorie feel like a “scared wee boy”…

The Voice UK returned to our screens last night — with Rita Ora joining the coaching line-up for the latest series.

And the singer certainly made her mark with some cheeky antics from her red chair by flirting with auditionee Stevie McCrorie.

The talent-show hopeful won over the judges with his rendition of Kodaline’s All I Want, when Rita tried to sway him to pick her as a coach by calling him ‘hot’ and even giving him a massage.

“I was like a scared wee boy!” McCrorie joked in an interview with Digital Spy.

“Honestly, it was literally like a rabbit caught in headlights. I remember thinking, ‘What is actually happening here?’ It was just insane.

“I didn’t know what to say. I’ve never been that great with girls in general, so when you’ve got somebody like Rita Ora kind of flirting with me, I was just like a wee boy.”

But he later added that Ora's behaviour actually put him at ease for his first appearance on TV.

“It was a bit reassuring and it was a really good kind of ice breaker for me to get chatting to them and let my guard down a wee bit," he said.

"I know that people want to hear the flirty thing, but I just saw it as a bit of fun. It was just quite a good laugh for me, I enjoyed it.”

The Voice UK returns for a second round of blind auditions on 17 January.
