Rita Ora has spoken out about her upcoming role in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie, gushing that she is "so excited" about the experience.

“It’s gonna be the biggest and most amazing shock ever,” she said of her turn as Christian Grey’s sister, Mia. Grey will be played by model-turned-actor Jamie Dornan.

The blonde bombshell previously had a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it role as a racer in Fast & Furious 6 but Fifty Shades represents her first speaking part.

Rita explained: "Oh, I was nervous because it was the first time I ever did a movie with words," reports MTV US.

“But it was so nice," she added. "The director Sam Taylor Johnson, she was incredible, so it was all love."

The singer also teased fans about her new album: "It comes out in a few months," she said.

"It's been about a year and a half of kind of doing it undercover, but I can officially say it's done. The album's gonna be great."
