Riverdale’s Camila Mendes Opens Up About Pulling An All Nighter With Noah Centineo

Is it possible that Camila Mendes is the luckiest person on the planet? Not only does she get paid actual money to smooch KJ Apa (AKA Archie Andrews) but she’s also in a real-life relationship with co-star and regulation hottie Charles Melton.

On top of that, the Riverdale actor has now opened up about her connection with Noah Centineo from To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before, and it sounds like the pair have a pretty tight friendship going on. Jealous? Us? Never.

She and IRL Peter Kavinsky are teaming up on an upcoming movie called The Stand, and Camila has now explained what it was like to shoot the film alongside the internet’s favourite crush.

“Shelby's the girl that Brooks [Noah] always dreamed of being with. It's funny because she does share some similarities with Veronica. She's very well off and goes to a prep school; she comes from this world that is very different from the world that Brooks comes from. 

As for what it was like working with Noah, she told Teen Vogue: “It was really fun. I love Noah, I love Laura [Marano]. The first day we met, we all stayed up in our hotel room until 8 in the morning. We were talking about everything, and it was such a beautiful conversation, just a great way to get to know each other. 

She added: “That kind of set the tone for the rest of the film. It was a really good group; Odiseas [Georgiadis, who plays Murph] too — he's super cool and I'm really excited for him to be discovered. We all bonded very quickly.”
