Robbie Williams is embroiled in a bizarre text message war with Rod Stewarts sprog, Ashley, according to the Daily Mirror.

Last month Stewart Jr announced hed helped Rob write a track for his new album called 'Shes Madonna' but had not got a song-writing credit nor a fist-full of cash for his troubles.

Now come reports that Robbie was not very happy about Ash going to the papers and has since been battering his mobile with angry texts messages - albeit "rambling and incoherent" ones.

One source close to Ashley says Robbie seems to be losing the plot and might even pull the album track, just to end their public dispute.

Meanwhile recovering rocker Pete Doherty has finally been released from The Priory!

The rocker is back on tour and has been papped on his way to Dublin with his missus Kate Moss in tow (aw...) yet also sporting a rather fetching black eye (?)
