Robbie Defends Rudebox

Robbie Williams has admitted to MTV that 'Rudebox' is his favourite of his own tunes, despite many people being less than kind about it.

It has a very special place in my heart, he said. I think out of any Robbie Williams song Ive written, Ive listened to 'Rudebox' the most. Ive played it to death; its almost worn out my computer.

Talking about the mixed reaction from fans to the track, he went on, Its confused me. Lots of people have said, We dont like it, we dont get it, but to me its really strong - its more of a single than 'Trippin' was. I personally love it.

But its not just Rudebox Robbies been blasting from his stereo " hes also been blaring out a certain JT tune.

I downloaded Justins song SexyBack and play it before I get on stage in the evenings on this tour, he fessed.

I do see similarities (with Rudebox) - its very funky and of a dance nature. I like Justin. Bless!

Meanwhile, contrary to reports over the weekend that Robbie has checked into rehab, his spokeswoman told MTV.co.uk, "Robbie hasn't admitted himself to the Priory, but is at home resting in LA before he continues with the tour."
