Robbie Making Solo Comeback At Jubilee Gig

Star jokes that royal concert appointment could win him a knighthood...

Robbie Williams is to make his solo comeback at the Queen's Diamond Jubilee concert in June, it is reported.
The Take Thatstar is apparently joining Sir Paul McCartney and Sir Elton John on the star-studded bill for the musical extravaganza - which is taking place in London on 4 June.
Robbie said: "I am excited to be in London for the celebrations and honoured to be part of this line-up. If this doesn't get me a knighthood, nothing will!"
The gig will also star Sir Tom Jones and Sir Cliff Richard - so Robbie will be one of the few performers 'without 'a knighthood.
A source told The Mirror: "Getting Robbie is a major catch for the concert – he's a huge star, and massively popular with fans of all ages.
"This show is going to be the centrepiece of the Queen's celebrations, and Robbie is a proper showman."
Robbie is also planning a UK tour later in the year, although probably not in September when his wife Ayda Field is [uuid=b09152d2-6b22-4f9f-9bbb-17d340adff0d]due to give birth to their first child[/uuid].
