Robbie: “Shut Up, Arctic Monkeys!”

Robbie Williams has apparently offered to give Arctic Monkeys a good kicking, following their remarks about Mark Ronson.

Last week, the Monkeys let rip on Mark Ronson, saying that his version of the Smiths track Stop Me If You Think Youve Heard This One Before is crap.

But Robbie disagrees, and has apparently jumped to the defence of his mate Mark, who worked on Robbies, erm, interesting Rudebox album. "Robbie offered to smack them up for me," says Ronson. "But I was like 'I don't need to start a northern war'.
