Robbie Williams 'Gives Up Trying To Crack US'

Candy singer says he couldn't cope with the workload...

Robbie Williams has revealed he's given up on trying to crack America.
During an interview with Croatian newspaper Take That star vowed to never try and make it in the US again, stating he would find it hard to deal with the workload.
Williams explained: "When I released my compilation album The Ego Has Landed I went to America for two months to promote it.
"The album sold one million copies. That was not bad. But I don't want to work that hard.
"I've concluded not to try it again. After that I did not promote any album in the US."
He added: "A lot of fame can be exhausting. I would hardly be able to cope with it [in the US]."
The father-of-one went on to state that he's not sure what the current state of his career is at the moment or whether he's already gone past the "golden age".
