Robert Pattinson is reported to have put a ring on it - sort of - with girlfriend FKA Twigs.

Although the former Twilight star has been dating musician Twigs, real name Tahliah Debrett Barnett, for less than a year - E! News reports that he gave her a "promise ring" (also known as a "pre-engagement ring") back in December.

And the pair are claimed to have held an "I-want-to-marry-you dinner" (which is a new one on us) with pals around the same time.

E! News predicts an engagement by the summer, while People magazine also has a report on the subject.

A source told the mag: "He wants to marry her.

"They are inseparable when they are together. They live at his house."

And R-Pattz is claimed to be "much more calm and happy than before".
