Robin Williams Sent Video Message To Terminally Ill Fan
Clip emerges of star sending "much love" to New Zealand woman...
We didn't need any more evidence that the late Robin Williams was a really nice guy, but that's what we've got this morning anyway.
A video clip has emerged of the actor sending a personal message to a terminally ill fan in New Zealand.
Recorded just months before he took his own life, the message was sent to 21-year-old Vivian Waller whose "bucket list" had included meeting Williams.
"Sending all my love to you, Jack and Sophie," Williams says in the clip - referring to her husband and their daughter.
The couple were married in February, which had also been on her list.
"Mark this off your bucket list," Williams goes on.
He then launches into one of his trademark scats, saying: "What's going on? It's all right, it's all right, it's all right. I'm just channeling Matthew McConaughey. Much love to you, baby."
Waller is still alive and suffering from lung, bowel and liver cancer, according to the Sunday-Star Times.
