A new 30-second trailer for RoboCop was aired during the Super Bowl in the US last night.
The remake of the much-loved 1987 sci-fi action film stars Joel Kinnaman as Alex Murphy, a policeman who gets a second chance after being seriously wounded in the line of duty.
Equipped with cybernetic enhancements, he is turned into a crime-fighting machine by a corporation with sinister motives.
The trailer begins with a montage of violent crime, with the voiceover intoning: "The only way to fight the next generation of evil, is to build the next generation of hero."
Gary Oldman, Michael Keaton, Abbie Cornish and Samuel L Jackson are all featured in the new movie - which is set to open on 7 February in the UK.
