Rod Stewart Turns Down TV Talent Show

The youthful rock star has turned down judging saying it’s not for him...

Rod Stewart has reportedly turned down the chance to appear as a judge on a talent show.
The Tonight’s The Night star commented that the role wasn’t suited to him however it’s not yet known which show the star has snubbed.
The superstar who has sold over 100 million records during his career said: “It’s not for me” and apparently stated: “I don’t see anything nice in breaking people’s dreams.”
Last year the Mod Rocker appeared alongside X Factor winner, James Arthur and runners up Union J for the show’s Christmas performance and has also been previously linked with appearing as a judge on the show.
Rod has also been linked to the show to appear as a guest judge and was apparently approached by Simon Cowell to replace Kelly Rowland for a spell on the show when the news broke in May last year.
The singer recently joined Elton John who picked up the very first Brits Icon award calling the celebrated musician “the second best rock singer ever.”
Rod is currently on his Live The Life tour and will play Leeds’ First Direct Arena tomorrow night (September 24).
