Darth Vader Stars In New Trailer For 'Rogue One: A Star Wars Story'
Can you spot him?
Star Wars fans have been waiting MONTHS for a new look at prequel adventure Rogue One, but now the wait is over, with the release of a brand new full-length trailer! And guess what? It’s absolute FIRE.
The new trailer kicks off with an eerie, piano-led version of the Imperial march, as Forest Whitaker gravely explains that the forces of the Empire are massing across the galaxy. The scene is thus set for Felicity Jones’ outlaw heroine, who is tasked by the Rebel Alliance with stealing the plans for the as yet unbuilt Death Star. However, Ben Mendelsohn’s villain won’t be too keen to give them up, and neither will the shadowy figure glimpsed at the very end of the trailer…
Check out the new trailer, below…
Yep, that’s Vader alright, who will apparently play a small *but significant* role in the new film. Not that it looks like we’ll be struggling for goosebump moments, with some truly breathtaking action on show here. Jones facing down a TIE Fighter armed with just a blaster? Yes please…
Directed by Gareth Edwards and co-starring Diego Luna, Riz Ahmed and Mads Mikkelsen, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will open in the UK on 16 December 2016.
