Ronan Keating and his wife Yvonne are reported to have called time on their 14-year marriage, having failed to make a go of things follwing his affair.
The formerBoyzone star, 35, had an affair with dancer Francine Connell in 2010, but 37-year-old Yvonne had forgiven him and they had been trying to stay together.
A source told The Sun: "Although Ronan and Yvonne couldn't patch things up, they are both determined to be there for their kids.
"They still love each other and wanted to tell their children and then their friends first, before everyone found out."
The details of their separation are not yet known.
