Roots Manuva is to collaborate with James Blunt, or so he says. Speaking in an interview on BBC 6Music, the Witness The Fitness star surprised listeners by revealing he had reached out to Blunt via the crooners guitarist. Im a personal friend of his [Blunt's] guitarist and he put the message in, and hes up for it, said Roots, who we can but hope is joking. Manuva, who releases his new album Slime And Reason on Monday (September 1), said he wasn't sure what musical direction the pair would take yet, they would just see how things go over a few glasses of wine.
