After breaking onto the scene last year, Royal Blood have just taken to the biggest stage on planet right now - the 2014 MTV EMA - for a storming performance of Figure It Out.

The Mercury-nominated, UK album chart-topping duo rocked out in front of a huge, mutli-tiered, metal structure of screaming fans in the middle of the SSE Hydro arena in Glasgow.

[related]Mike and Ben, recently spoke to us about preparing for the gig telling us:

“I think like every gig we do, every show we do we treat the same and to be honest with you after the first couple of seconds it’s almost like we go into our little world and our own musical space where we just enjoy playing music.”

Tonight, Ozzy Osbourne will receive this year’s Global Icon Award and he’ll be here in person to receive his trophy.

Nominated in the Best Rock category tonight are Arctic Monkeys, The Black Keys, Coldplay, Imagine Dragons and Linkin Park.
